Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol

Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol (1962) - Lee Orgel and Abe Levitow teamed up again to stake their place in both television and animation history with this hour long adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol. It was television’s first animated special and blazed the trail for all the animated specials to follow, whether they were holiday themed or not. This Christmas perennial is highly regarded for its heart and for the song score by Broadway composers, Jule Styne and Bob Merrill. It just celebrated its 45th anniversary in December 2007.
